Wynter had left her house about 15 minutes ago to walk down to the Harbor. She was wearing a pair of faded blue jeans and a light blue tanktop that had white straps and a white design with light blue and white converses. She had her hoodie draped loosely over her shoulders with the hood down. Her hair was pulled up {As usual} into a bun with three different pairs of hair sticks in it. She also wore three necklaces of different lengths, jelly bracelets up one arm and bangles up the other and dangling earings. Wynter had always loved to stick out and be different from everyone else.
She finally reached the harbor and walked all the way to the end of the dock. She sat down and looked around through the thin layer of haze that surrounded this area each morning. In the distance, she saw something glitter from the lights of the street lamps and looked at it more carefully. It surfaced again to reveal a fin and she wondered for a moment whether it was a dolphin or a shark. A large dolphis jumped from the water, two more on each of it's sides and did a flip before coliding with the water once more.
Wynter smiled brightly at the beautiful sight. She loved nature and dolphins were beautiful and brilliant creatures. She watched as the dolphins continued their theatrical little show for her before they finished performing and swam away back into the deep waters. She smiled again and sighed happily. She hadn't seen anything so beautul in months, maybe even longer. She leaned back on the palms of her hands, still staring through the now even thinner haze at the horizon, where the sun was just beginning to rise in the sky.
Her mind flooded with thoughts once more after a few minutes. Thoughts of her mother at home and her father, wherever he was now. She had always blamed herself for his leaving, no matter how many times her mother would tell her that she hadn't done anything to make him leave. She sighed and continued to think, her mind averting it's focus every few moments impatiently. Her mind went through the thoughts in fractions; thoughts of family, friends, crushes, school...Wynter was annoyed that her mind was so full this morning that she could barely focus on anything else. She hummed softly to a tune which she she couldn't quite remember where she'd heard it due to the overflow of thoughts in her head.
